Our Favorite Things Blog Hop

Can you believe December is already here??? It will be over before we know it! You are in for an awesome treat following this blog hop! Over 70 bloggers are joining together to give away some of our favorite things... and NO TWO THINGS ARE THE SAME! Now that's what I'm talking about! 

So here are a few of my favorite things... AND YES, THAT IS DEFINITELY ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS! 

A holiday tradition for me and my daughter is to kick off the season with "The Sound of Music." Before she came along, I was alone in a house of men with no one to share my love of musicals, Rodgers and Hammerstein and Julie Andrews. Now Bailey and I enjoy them every chance we get (when the men are out of the house!!!) 

These salted carmel cookies are part of my annual "candy bar" that is full of goodies for the kids mostly me... they soon forget it is there! UGHHHH!!! Thanks kids! 

Another tradition that I love is how Christmas day usually ends up with some target practice because at least one family member got a new gun! 

Here is my little "Katniss Everdeen" with her bow and arrow... she has a lot of upper body strength due to her swimming. 

And my sweet boy who wants to be a hunter but never seems to have the time. He got this gun last year and has only been out hunting once or twice. 

Ok... now my favorite restaurant might seem a little cheesy to y'all. But I'm a simple gal, from a little town. When we venture out to the city, it's a quick trip and something different, quick and cheap is usually always on the menu. 

I love a little Moe's when quick and cheap is necessary. We don't have one anywhere within two hours. A chicken joey junior with black beans, sour cream, corn salsa and cilantro is my go-to burrito. And if they have the "mix your own flavor" drink machine... then I AM IN HEAVEN! A diet coke with lime and then a fresh lime wedge is the icing on the cake!

Of course my favorite store is online since we are so far away from anything and I rarely have free time to get out of town. I love the deals on Jane.com and will contributing money for you to spend on the website. 

I'm all about some fleece lined leggings, tunics and easy to match jewelry pieces. I'm such a shortie, I always get the "your so cute" compliment with my leggings and tunics. I've got to shed a few pounds  but until then leggings rule! :)
