Nonfiction with Sharks

I'm linking up with the amazingly talented Amanda at Teaching Madness for her always fun "Must Read Monday" linky!
We are reading nonfiction books about sharks! The kiddos absolutely love this topic! Sandra Markle (the author of the "What if you had Animal Hair" and " What if you had Animal Teeth" books) has some great books on sharks.
Her books always have great illustrations, the information is presented in an entertaining format and she includes some essential nonfiction text features.
There are some great activities and links on her blog as well.

We are using my new shark unit that is choc full of fun, interactive activities. Click the pic to visit my store!

The students are loving these trading cards and shark hunt activities!

Some blogging buddies and I have been trying out each other's products this month and blogging about how we used them. I used many items from Mrs. Labrasciano's Spring Unit to celebrate and learn about the coming of Spring.

So, if you haven't entered yet... check out some of these fun blogs and enter with the rafflecopter at the bottom. There are 7 winners choice prizes... so you might just get to choose my new Shark Unit!
