All of us have been thinking about good ways in which to treat our readers and followers. We thought hard, and I mean it! Really, really hard… and decided that we can treat you to our best ideas to work smarter rather than harder… at school and home!
I know what it takes to be a great teacher, the stress, the time, the energy… I could go on and on! I also know that we crave time to ourselves and our families.

So here I go!

This tip takes a little effort upfront, but the payoff will be great! I get so frustrated when my classroom library books get out of sort. It is such a daunting task to re-sort them all into the categories that I use. This year, I labeled them all with these labels.

And all of my book tubs now have matching labels, so I can quickly tell where they go. This saves me so much time when I am putting books away when we are finished with each theme/unit.

And... my students can match the books to the correct tubs, so now I don't have to spend hours re-sorting after each theme/unit! If they do get in a mess, I can easily pick one responsible student to do the re-sorting for me, no questions asked, just match the label to the tub! HAPPY DAY!!!!

There is such beautiful scenery where I live... we may just walk our road, or take a short drive to hike and enjoy views like this. My daughter and I talk about her day at school, or the wildflowers that we see growing along the way. It is a great way to end a stressful day, just enjoy the simplicity of nature's beauty and serenity.
