Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens... My favorite things are not so "cutesy!" But the movie "The Sound of Music" is absolutely one of my all time favorites and I hated when Carrie Underwood did the broadway show on TV, she rocks country music and needs to stick to that. ;) Sooooo.... today we launch our big "Favorite Things Giveaway!"

This is my favorite pencil sharpener. It's from Classroom Friendly Supplies and is about $25! It's not mechanical and the kids have not been able to break it! Happy, happy, happy!!!
These index cards are already bound with a ring and have the elastic band to keep things from getting messy! These are from Staples, but I got several at The Dollar Tree a couple of days ago! These are great for sight word practice, math flash cards, etc.
My teacher bag!!! My mom got me this "purse" for my birthday but it is way too big for me to use as a purse... so I use it as my teacher bag. Stylish yes, practical idk! But it holds a ton of stuff and has managed to stay clean through lots of abuse.
These are my favorite post-it notes... Plain, simple, bright and small. I often use them for bookmarks when my students are using basals, it amazes me that they stick and re-stick and the kids don't lose them. Of course there are many uses for sticky notes!!!
My favorite summer time teacher shoes... my Chacos! I LOVE these shoes and have worn them every day of summer for 3 summers now, definitely worth the expense!
My favorite piece of technology. I love using this from anywhere in my room to interact with the smartboard. Splashtop is an expensive app, but worth the money for being able to remotely control the computer that is connected to your smartboard.
These binders are going to keep me organized and planned this year. They are available in my TpT store and are editable so that you can add names, info, plans, etc. on your computer BEFORE you print. They will be on sale for $4.32 when the TpT Back to School sale begins.
