One of my peeps has done it again!
This week Marissa at The Inspired Owl's Corner has written about how she kicks off the new school year with a big celebration as her Tips and Tools post for this week.
Her mother was a teacher and actually used this idea in her classroom as well! Marissa goes into detail about how she inspires her students to have "The Greatest School Year Ever!"

NOW FOR THE HIGH/LOW LINKY from another peep, Julie at A First for Everything.
She has started this linky as a way to share our highs and lows from each week... it's not always rainbows and butterflies ya know! ;) As it is summer time, most of us won't have school related highs and lows... but since I am in the process of changing grade levels, my high/low is school related!
In fact, my high is my low! I am thrilled to be moving to second grade... in a portable... far less distractions! So one day this week I went to my old classroom and got almost everything moved... IN ONE DAY! Now I don't have to worry about how to get that done for what's left of the summer. That is my HIGH. My LOW would be the mess I made in the wake of all this and now that it all has to be sorted out in my new classroom! UGHHHH!!! Hopefully one more full day and I will have it all sorted out!
Thanks for stopping by and come back tomorrow... I plan to have another little freebie for you, a sample from my latest unit to get your firsties introduced to story elements or refresh your second graders on the concept when they come BACK TO SCHOOL!
