Don't we all dream of having "time to organize?" Enter summer break... and what? Oh no, I don't want to set foot in my classroom///well maybe I will go by for a couple of hours///but the pool is calling my name! YIKES! What a dilemma! So... what to do?
This linky with Laura at Where The Magic Happens Daily should offer lots of great tips!
My classroom is currently disheveled, piled up and scattered! We are entering the last two weeks of school, which will prove to be time of suffering, pain, gnashing of teeth... due to testing schedules which means no specials, no help, no recess, nothing but cooped up in classrooms ALL. DAY. LONG!
I will likely try to assess the situation of chaos somewhat during this time, but I know one thing I will be tackling soon... THE "TO BE FILED" pile!
I noticed some teachers are starting to use binders for their filing system and I gave it a whirl about mid-year but I didn't have a plan or enough binders. Soooo... I am working on some binder covers and planners that work for me and am going to give it another try. My filing cabinet is far away from my desk but I have a bookshelf right beside it so I am hoping that if I can start out the year with a system set up, I will follow through and USE IT!
Here is one of the covers from my first set of editable binder covers which includes 12 covers with spine labels included. And the best part??? You can click here to get them for free from my store this weekend ONLY!

Hi Missy! I, too, need to work on my "To Be Filed" pile...really, it's more like 6 or 7 piles! Geez, how embarrassing to admit! Anyway, how do you like using a binder system for organizing all your files? I'm tempted to try, but I know this is a really big undertaking!
