Oh my goodness... I was so surprised to find out I had been nominated for the Liebster Award by Amna at Teach Two Reach!

1)  What's your favorite T.V. show? Once Upon a Time on ABC... so excited for the return tomorrow night!

2)  What kind of student were you in school? I was not very attentive until high school, when I began to set goals for myself.

3)  What kind of child were you to your parents? I was pretty good I think, the oldest of 3... I took care of everyone and still do! ;)

4)  When you started your teaching journey, did you get the grade placement you wanted? I did, I just didn't realize it... thought I would want older students, like middle school

5)  What is your usual weekend like? Cleaning! UGH!!!!

6)  What chores do you leave until you absolutely HAVE to do them? Laundry!

7)  Do you see doing anything more with your education degree in a few years? Probably, I love it but the pay in NC is about the lowest in the nation.

8)  What is your favorite fruit, vegetable, and junk food item? Fruit: Bananas; Vegetable: Avacado; Junk Food: Chocolate

9)  If you could live anywhere in the world besides the country you live in now, where would it be and why? Hawaii, I just want to have constant warm temps!

10)               What’s your favorite animal? Cats! I would have lots of them if we weren't allergic!

11)               What’s your biggest strength as a teacher? What would you like to work on? Planning and organization are my strengths.  I need to work on fitting more into my day, I never get it all in! I don't know if its me or the kids. 

11 Random Facts about me: 

1. I like hiking and biking...
2. I am afraid of just about anything else! (roller coasters, strange foods, heights...)
3. I must have exactly 2 cups of coffee everyday! 
4. I could sit in my PJ's all day long on Saturdays.
5. I can and freeze vegetables and make preserves and jellies every summer...
6. I love blackberry picking time! 
7. I live in the same town I grew up in, my mom grew up in and her mom grew up in! 
8. I usually fall asleep on the couch at 9:00 on Friday nights... wild times here! ;) 
9. My sarcasm doesn't sound sarcastic enough and people think I am serious! 
10. I love some fried chicken... I never eat it, but I would love to! 
11. I hate cooking and grocery shopping!

I love the pics of her classroom because it favors mine... lots of things going on but all neat and necessary. I don't have time or money for fancy classroom decor right now... haha.

5: Amy at Learning Lessons with Mrs. Labrasciano ~ Her blog design is the totes magotes!!! Haha! Her style is even more impressive! She made memory books for a ton of her IG friends ~ including me and I love it! I noticed that Amy was also nominated by Amna at Teach Two Reach (who nominated me!)
