Meet The Teacher

I'm linking up with Stephanie at Falling Into First for her Meet The Teacher Linky today!

I have been married to this guy for 20 years! Ups and downs, highs and lows... we've been there and done that. He's a good one for sure :)

Here are a few pics of what we tend to do about once a week... head to the creek! So relaxing, the kids tube down slow moving creek, play in the cold water, we chill the watermelon and picnic later.

Q: THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS... All of the things in the pics above! Chillin' in the creek, chillin' the watermelon in the creek and good ole Apple Pie! :)

Q: IF YOU WEREN'T A TEACHER, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO BE? I have already been a nurse's aid, a baker, a MARINE, a hairdresser and now a teacher and I just got my Real Estate broker's license... what else is there??? Maybe a lawyer!

Q; THREE LITTLE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE YOU. Introvert. Mission-Oriented. Fair.

Q: FINISH THE SENTENCE, "________, SAID NO TEACHER EVER!!" "Let's change the curriculum again!"

Q: IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY AND YOU CAN INVITE ANYONE {DEAD OR ALIVE} TO THE PARTY. WHO ARE YOU INVITING? No one... I'm an introvert remember! Haha... maybe Mother Theresa, she seems like my kind of lady! ;)

Q: IF SOMEONE WROTE A BOOK ABOUT YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD BE THE TITLE? It's a Juggling Act

Q:YOU GET TO PICK ONE SUPERPOWER. WHAT IS IT? Stopping time... I would stay right here with my kids and my hubby (I may go back a few years so my son would still be at home!)

Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE OR SAYING? Treat others the way you want to be treated... maybe it's a bit childish but if everyone did this the world would be a better place.

Q: IF YOU HAD TO SING ONE SONG ON AMERICAN IDOL, WHAT WOULD IT BE? "Ain't it Fun" by Paramore... love reminding my niece and my kids that the real world isn't all it is cracked up to be, enjoy living off your parents while you can kids! haha

Q: ARE YOU A MORNING PERSON OR A NIGHT OWL? Neither! I really want to be a morning person, but I love sleeping in late and sipping on coffee for two hours!

Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE RESOURCE THAT YOU'VE CREATED IN YOUR TPT SHOP? This Shark Unit was the last purely educational unit that I did last school year and it was a hit with the kids, yet educational as well.
Q: SHARE SOMETHING WE MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU!
Hmmm.... I'm sure I've already answered this one. Haha... I think I'm funny but you may think it's sarcastic, maybe you didn't know that about me!

  4. Awesome to get to know you a little better! I love the watermelon chilling in the creek. As for changing the curriculum-- if my school adds one more acronym I may have to quit! We have IB, AMSTI, PBL, CCRS, and STAR. It's too much! Just let me teach, please.

  5. Love the name of your blog, and that creek. I think we could be neighbors! I was also a hairdresser 15 years, now I just pull out my hair. HA HA. I enjoyed getting to know you.
